Favorite New Store

So yesterday, Sarah Kate's Meemaw came out after a little arm pulling from the mommy to be, to get her name painted on the nursery wall. We needed a little break and decided to make a trip to Covington to check out the Freckled Frog followed by lunch at the tea room with the slightly obnoxious ladies who work there. So I must say without a doubt, I have a new favorite store! It is an absoulutley precious children's store. And as an experienced mommy, I can honestly tell you how precious the days are that you get to shop in a store like this for your little one. It doesn't seem like it took anytime before we graduated to Limited Too/Justice and Aeropostale. Where did the time go?
The Freckled Frog has all the old time honored brands that I put on my babies a decade ago like Feltman Bros and Petite Ami, along with some adorable new brands I had never heard of. I am super excited to get to shop for these little things again. Although SK has multiple sweet outfits of her sisters, washed and waiting in the closet, I've got my eye on some, more precious than words, dresses that I may break down and buy. There is a line of clothes called WillBeth (I think) that I have fallen in love with that SK and I may not be able to live without! Sorry honey. Just wanna get that outta the way now! lol

  1. Good for you! I'm glad you checked out the "frog." Yeah, thats what we call it here at our house. This mama makes weekly trips to the frog. Mills is always needing a new undershirt, pair of socks, and oh!...I've GOT to go today and replace his knee socks that he's already outgrowing, because of his little thunder thighs and calves. LOL! Acutally, on of my B/F/F's mom owns the frog, so, we do an awful lot of shopping there. Rosie, check out their kissy kissy stuff. It was and IS my favorite for babies. I can't believe how SOFT it is. I took the gowns to the hospital with me and had the nurses put him in them, instead of those horrible kimono tops that are like 10 sizes too big for them. He was so sweet and cuddly!! Anyway, I hope you are feeling well. Can't wait to meet baby;)

  2. Yay! Are the things in that store at ALL affordable? So asks the mommy who has fallen in lust with the $150 baptism gowns at the fru-fru store in East Memphis! Ack!

  3. Actually, they aren't too bad. Some of the REALLY sweet stuff was $60 up to $100 I think. But they actually had some dresses as low as $24 and the accessories were not priced badly at all! We should make a day of it when you have a day off or one Saturday afternoon and have lunch at the tea room with the obnoxiously nice servers! Ohh, I can't wait for girl's day out with Riley and SK!
